About the Author
Lauren Lee was born in Chicago and lives there with her family. She grew up (more or less) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Northwestern University and obtained a graduate degree in English Education from the University of Chicago. After teaching in the multicultural suburb of Lincolnwood, Illinois, she had her first child and began to write seriously. She tutors students, generally Korean Americans and was graciously accepted into the Korean American community. She can cook Korean food but doesn’t yet speak the language. Maybe that’s next.
